It is said by some, that the Dalai Lama once visited this field when it was a cricket pitch to watch a game between locals and a side made up of monks from a local institution that was a temporary home to them on a visit. This is where the scorers would have been housed. A shed fit for a game with such distinguished visitor. Sadly in poor condition now, but a pleasant home to local wildlife.
