Collection: Guest Artist: Rowena Renton

I first found Rowena's work on Facebook in the Corrugated Iron Appreciation Group, of which I am also a proud member. Being based in the North of Scotland gives her some advantage in this regard, but she does seem able to find some stunning examples of the genre. Are images of corrugated iron works of art? There's no question on my mind that these certainly are. She has an eye for it. I'm very pleased that she has agreed to be a guest artist on my site, and I'm sure you will agree and buy some of her excellent prints offered here.

Here's how Rowena sees here work: "I live & work in the Scottish Highlands & visit many remote & rural places along the coastline with my job. I am passionate about the way that nature & the weather create the most beautiful colours, patterns & patina in solid structures & objects. I see such beauty in the deterioration and degradation."
