Purton is the name of the small riverside village that has the Gloucester to Sharpness canal running parallel to it. To protect the banks of the Severn from erosion ships were beached into the banks here. Over the years they have rotted magnificently creating sculptures of sorts. This is just one of them. They are a favourite subject of mine to draw and soon the paint.
All prints are presented on Hahnemühle German Etching Giclée paper.
Frames are solid wood from sustainable sources, manufactured to high standards.
