How?

How I go about this stuff.

In the past I used to draw on layout paper with marker pen, but for many of the landscapes and sheds featured here the drawings are done in indian ink with a simple dip pen and sometimes a brush or two. I also use a stiff toothbrush from time to time ( I don't use it in my teeth afterwards ) It's great for 'splatter'. I'm keen on experimental works and some work for me and others don't.
One or two of the drawings are done in pastel pencil with no ink.
Colour is added afterwards in many of the ink drawings and is soft pastel.
Some of my drawings are made into black and white prints with colour added, some of these are coloured with oil pastel, others with soft pastel.
A recent addition is my collection of photos from Los Angeles. I've photographed a lot of signs in Los Angeles where I have visited a few times. They are one of my favourite things in LA. Some of the photos are untouched by photoshop, others are enhanced and made to resemble silk screen prints. No wonder film companies located there as the blue skies there do wonders for these signs. I hope you like them, I really think they are huge works of art in this concrete sunshine jungle.
My original drawings are not yet available to sell from this site but if you are interested in any of them, then do please get in touch and I'll see if I still have it and what sort of price might suit you, and me. Get in touch via the Contact page please.
I'm always interested to know what people think of my work and am on Facebook and Instagram.

I'm hoping to add some short videos in here in due course, the one here is one I did during Lockdown, my priority at present is to get images up on the pages for you.
