What's in a sign?

I'm a big fan of the huge ad signs you can view in California. I have family who live there so have in the past photographed quite a few of these signs, some iconic and some better described as ordinary and a little weathered in the hot sun. Back in rainy UK I have spent time celebrating the ordinary and the extra ordinary by cleaning and editing the signs digitally. They make super fine art prints as I believe they are just that: fine art.
